Pauline & Gianfranco

Pauline and Gianfranco chose this wonderful Castello overlooking Assisi for the most important day of their lives. The couple requested a design that was natural, simple and elegant with a fresh and relaxing atmosphere.

The theme colours were Bianco antico, Dark Kaki, Olive, Kaki and Talpa while gypsophila was the reigning flower of the event: it offered a sense of lightness, transparency and even a touch of wilderness to the entire décor set up.

Following their Marriage ceremony in the Church of San Pietro in Assisi, the couple sped through the little town of Assisi in a shock-red Alfa Romeo Spider: every groom’s dream! In keeping with true Italian custom, the couple were greeted and applauded by the townspeople as the made their way through the narrow streets before making their way to the Castello where this wonderful event took place.

We choose sober accessories and for the mise en place: white plates and glasses with minimal line gave for a clean and neutral but not too traditional look.

We used groups of elements of various sizes capable of creating focal points from the scenographic point of view. We used natural fiber baskets containing cut flowers and plants of various sizes in keeping with the theme and palette.

The table was very refined but not too rich. Delicate colours and elements – natural and simple and the finishing effect was warm and welcoming.

After the wonderfully romantic sunset, strings of lights added the final touch to the whole scene
