Once upon a time, in 7th grade, Karina and Bryan were intellectual rivals! They didn’t become friends until 9th grade though. They started dating in 10th grade in 2012, been putting up with each other ever since. So he was planning the proposal for over a year, but due to weather and him living in Boston, he was not able to propose until January 2019. One of the first things they did together when they started dating was take a scuba diving class where they both got licensed. His idea was to go to the same spot where they first were licensed to dive. She had no clue! He chartered a private dive boat that took them diving, he hid the ring with his gear. Once they were on the ocean bottom with all the fishies surrounding them, the scuba guide handed Bryan a banner he made, that read “Will you marry me?”. Surrounded by all the ocean beauty she said yes and they entered into a powerful embrace and kiss that shocked the aquatic world. He put the ring on her finger and they had a mini photoshoot underwater. How amazing is that proposal! Underwater, that is a first for me and I have to give props to Bryan for all that planning. Bryan describes wife to be as caring, warm hearted, perspicacious, semi-adventurous and silly. Her kind soul is one of the things he loves about her. Karina describes her fiance as thoughtful, hilarious, loving, ambitious, unique. The fact that is always knows what to do and makes her feel safe is what she loves about Bryan.
Karina and Bryan had their beautiful wedding at Miami Marriott Biscayne Bay it was the last wedding for 2019 and let’s just say that they’re wedding is one for the books! It was Rollercoaster wedding day and I am so happy that I was there to for capture every crazy moment of the day, from Bryan falling in the ocean, to Karina mom dress breaking, and the shattering of the chandelier when Karina tossed the bouquet.
These two were so much fun. They smiled, they laughed and we made some amazing photographic memories to mark the occasion.
