The couple married a year ago to the day. This vow renewal was symbolic for the grooms mother who did not make the first wedding due to undergoing cancer treatments. The couple was dealing with postponing the wedding yet again after they already changed their date due to Covid 19 pandemic. However, the grooms mother told them to go on with the wedding, and promise to have a vow renewal the next year. One full year in cancer remission and the groom was able to keep his promise to his mother.
