Once a Danish church, The Covenant at Murray Mansion, located in Racine, Wi, is now a beautiful wedding venue for fine art-inspired brides and grooms. With a pure white interior, the former church sanctuary has been transformed into a modern, light and airy event space, while preserving beautiful stained glass details, 30-foot ceilings, and an incredibly unique feature piece — the church’s old pipe organ was turned into bar!
While the main event space at The Covenant can accommodate up to 320 guests, our shoot focused on one of the more intimate spaces at the venue: Murray Mansion itself. When it was first constructed, Murray Mansion was one of the largest Italianate structures in Wisconsin; the fully-restored home preserves many of the original appointments from 1874, including beautiful ceiling medallions, a grand staircase, and our teams’ personal favorite: the white marble fireplace! This intimate space can host up to 75 guests for a small wedding or intimate elopement.
