Ashley and Carlos met in high school. They reunited about 15 years later when Ashley randomly received a message on Facebook from him. He was like “Wow so many years… how are you?” They hit it off, had great conversations and reconnected…and they’ve been together ever since pretty much. Carlos describes Ashley as smart, loyal, a worry wart, determined and honest. His favorite thing about Ashley is how caring she is. Ashley describes Carlos as Nurturing, Caring, A great father, patient and smart. Her favorite thing about Carlos is that he is so patient. They love to travel and try new foods and drinks. Carlos proposed to her in their first apartment together! It was a special place for them so it was perfect for the proposal. And the rest as they say is history and brings us to today. The chosen location for the ceremony and the reception is The Historic Maxwell Room. With its brick arches and colonnades, the Maxwell Room really is the definition of the charm and elegance of bygone days. I was excited when they chose to have a first look. A quiet moment for the two of them together away from the prying eyes of their guests. I, of course, was there but only to document these precious moments. I always say this, but it is one of my absolute favourite parts of the wedding day. Carlos and Ashley said their vows in a beautiful outdoor ceremony, in front of their friends and family. A beautiful day. We took some the bride and groom around the grounds and took some beautiful portraits. Congratulations, Ashley and Carlos, on your beautiful day and I wish you all the happiness as you continue your love story now as husband and wife.
